Financial Controller

Joseph joined Cottons in February 2023 and is the business’s Financial Controller. He has around 20 years of experience in Internal Finance and the last 10 spent servicing firms in practice. His focus as with all Financial Controller roles is to ensure finance processes are robust and adhered to, however he does have background in data management using techniques such as Robotics Process Automation, manipulation in Excel and Dashboard production.

He has found that being CIMA qualified as well as having a degree in Accounting and Finance has helped him gain an understand and appreciation of the nature of the data that flows in a practice environment.

Outside of work, Joseph attends a Tang Soo Do martial arts club with his son and is keen at DIY. He can often be found repairing things with helpful information gathered through social media.
