Welcoming five new partners to our growing Cottons team

by | Feb 22, 2024

We are excited to share some fantastic news with you all. As of February 22, 2024, we have welcomed five remarkable individuals as partners across our Northampton, Rugby and Daventry branches. This announcement marks a significant milestone for us, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have these talented professionals join our team.

The decision to appoint these new partners was made during our recent Cottons Group Annual Conference on February 20. This event, focusing on digitisation, regulatory updates and staff development, provided the perfect backdrop for us to introduce our new partners to the wider Cottons community.

Each of our new partners brings a unique blend of experience, expertise and ambition to the table. Their collective contributions will undoubtedly bolster our position as one of the top 100 accountancy firms in the UK and drive our firm’s continued growth and success.

Sarah Randall highlighted her focus, saying,

“I feel honoured to be joining this Partnership team and am looking forward to this exciting new chapter in my career with Cottons. I will continue to build my client base, with a focus on the two areas that have always interested me; owner-managed businesses and the legal sector.”

Aneta Sheridan, with 13 years of hard work under her belt, shared her plans to expand her ledger and solidify Cottons’ presence in Daventry and the broader UK accountancy landscape.

Sarah Kite emphasised her goal, stating,

“I am delighted to be joining Cottons Group as a partner and honoured to have been given this opportunity. I’m excited for what my future here will bring. It is important that our team work together to achieve the best results for all.”

James Melvin shared his enthusiasm, saying,

“I’m very happy to be able to share this news after a considerable amount of work and planning has happened in the background. During my time at Cottons, I have worked with many of our larger clients, including being heavily involved with our audit department, working as part of the corporate finance team and providing support on technical accounting matters.”

Enamul Khan, one of our newly appointed partners, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, highlighting his dedication to enhancing internal procedures and systems to support our rapid growth trajectory.

“As Managing Partner of Cottons Group, I am personally thrilled to welcome these exceptional individuals to our partnership team. Their expertise, dedication and fresh perspectives will undoubtedly enrich our firm and drive us forward into a future filled with endless possibilities.” Will Smart, Managing Partner.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Enamul, Aneta, Sarah K., Sarah R. and James on their well-deserved appointments. Together, we look forward to achieving new heights of success and excellence as we continue to serve our clients and communities with integrity and innovation.

We welcome you to congratulate them and stay tuned for more exciting updates from Cottons Group!
